Biological spider motion

The influence of biological spider motion on perceptual and learning processes

We explore the impact of biological motion on the development and persistence of specific phobias. Our approach involves the use of both natural videos featuring moving animals and point-light stimuli. Point-light stimuli depict living beings through the movement of groups of light points, with humans, for instance, represented by light points positioned at their joints. The objective is to understand the significance of biological motion in eliciting fear reactions.
